divider1. What to wear to a photo session?

We recommend you wear something plain and simple. Busy patterns like logos and prints can obstruct the picture and clash with the natural background colors. Wear something comfortable with a medium color tone.

2. What images does the client receive after their photo shoot?

We will give you a high resolution edited version of your shots on a CD

3. Can the client get the original unedited files?

Sorry, these are not available.

4. How long will it take for the CD to be shipped out?

It generally takes 7 – 10 business days.

5. Is there an extra charge for a location 30 miles outside  of your studio?

Yes, there will be an additional charge. We are happy to discuss this with you.

6. What type of props do you provide for a senior graduation or for other photo shoots?

For a graduation, we can help you locate a reasonably priced gown and a fresh flower crown – on request. (These items can be provided for an extra charge.)

We do provide a maternity gown and new born props such as a headband and an outfit, generally without an additional charge. Please discuss your need for the items well in advance of your photo session. We also provide props for “holiday” photo session for children, without an additional charge.

7. Do you provide prints?

Prints or an album can be provided at an additional charge. Please inquire about our price list.

8. How do we book you?

You can reach us by email through the “Contact” tab on the website or give us a call.

9. Do you have a studio?

Yes, we do have a studio in our location in North Hills, Long Island.

10. What time is best to do an outdoor photo session?

The outdoor photo session is best to do when the sun is low on the horizon. That time avoids harsh sunlight and shadows. Most photographers love this soft light and refer to this time of day as the “golden hours.” It creates a soft ambience and skin tone on the subject.

11. What time should the client arrive at the location?

It is best to arrive a half hour before the scheduled time. This allows sufficient time to review the session with the client and for the photographer to set up the props and equipment.
